BF4 Message Template
I've created a template in Photoshop to allow accurate Battlefield 4 in-game chat message construction. Although this template was created in Photoshop CS6, it has been saved using Maximum Compatibility so should work with earlier versions as well as some other applications.
The attached zip file contains these two files:
- BF4 Message Template.psd - The actual template itself.
- Battlefield Medium.otf - The required font file.
The PSD contains two layers:
- Message Guide - This is locked and serves as a width guide.
- Message Text - This is the layer you use to type up your chat messages.
To use this pack, simply download and extract the zip file, right click the font file and select Install. Now just open the PSD file and use the Message Text layer to construct your chat messages that you can then copy and paste into your code.
The Photoshop template just looks like this (the text is completely editable):

And this is what it would look like in game (this screenshot has been cropped for size):

As you can see, the messages will look the same in-game.
If you have any questions or issues, please feel free to reply.

Stickyed for value.
Don't send me private messages (PMs) unless you really need privacy, like your game server password. If you just have a question or need help, post in one of the threads. It's extra work for me to answer questions and give help in private messages and no one else gets the benefit of the answer.

How does this tie into the BF4 chat window though? I downloaded this, edited the text and all that. Now, when we go in the game, the chat looks the same. How do I add this to the server itself? Is this a plugin? You say to drop it into my code? What code?
