Thread: Maplist bug?

    Question Maplist bug?

    I dont know what is going on and where is the problem, but after server(BF4) restart i have still the problem that procon does show me a different maplist what is inside the maplist.txt. Inside maplist are 64 maps and procon does show me the first 33. When i open console in procon and make maplist.clear than maplist.load and maplist.list it shows me the correct maplist. Where is the problem?

    Hi.

    As your post shows Procon does everything right.
    The server response with only 33 maps of your maplist.txt.
    If that file contains more than 33 entries check for loops, same map with same type at different lines,
    or syntax errors.

    If there are none of those than it's still the maplist server side bug known from older releases.

    As you see when i clear the maplist inside with procon and load it again all maps are fine. So i hope they will fix that server side bug soon.

    Hi.

    The point is not that you send the mapList.clear command but a mapList.load.
    It seems at some point the server misses what's running and need a maplist reload to send all over rcon in case
    a mapList.list is send.

    Well, there is another thread or a dialog on github showing that also.

    Yes i saw that thread and it looks like that server needs reload. As you can see the maplist will not only cut, it changes the rounds from 1 to 2 in Domination.
