BF4: How do the vars.teamKill variables work?

    I'm talking about these:

vars.teamKillCountForKick <count> Set number of teamkills allowed during a round
vars.teamKillKickForBan <count> Set number of team-kill kicks that will lead to permaban
    vars.teamKillValueDecreasePerSecond <count> Set kill-value decrease per second
vars.teamKillValueForKick <count> Set max kill-value allowed for a player before he/she is kicked
    vars.teamKillValueIncrease <count> Set kill-value increase for a teamkill

In particular, what is a kill value?

I'm guessing its some kind of team-kill rate/cooldown adjustment. Procon has this comment in Settings, based on an increase of 1 and a decrease of 2:

A player will be kicked for teamkilling a minimum of 5.0 player(s) in one second or at a minimum rate of 65.0 player(s) per minute. A player is forgiven for one teamkill in 0.5 seconds.
That's all clear, but it doesn't say anything about how that interacts with vars.teamKillCountForKick. Does value interact with count at all, or are those two separate systems for auto-kicking? That is, you can be auto-kicked either for exceeding the value in terms of your team-kill rate, or by exceeding the absolute count?

BTW, why isn't teamKillKickForBan visualized in the Procon Server Settings? Or am I just not seeing it? It's not on the Team killing panel, that's for sure.

Finally, the table on page 7 of the R12 BF4 PC Server Administration document only lists the Battlelog Server Type requirements for vars.teamKillValueForKick and vars.teamKillKickForBan. It doesn't list vars.teamKillCountForKick. Is that intentional or just a typo?
Don't send me private messages (PMs) unless you really need privacy, like your game server password. If you just have a question or need help, post in one of the threads. It's extra work for me to answer questions and give help in private messages and no one else gets the benefit of the answer.

Check the protocol document, it has more detailed info on each setting.

I did, that's where I started, but it doesn't really answer my questions.

I can't make any sense of it either without some clarification from DICE.

It doesn't interact it is an additional mechanism to have player kicked for teamkilling,.

You have to go back in time to find your answer.

When friendly fire is enabled, there is a system which can automatically kick players for excessive teamkilling.
It tracks how many kills (in total) each player has performed during the current round.
Also, it has a scoring system, where each kill increases the score by a set amount, and the score decreases at a constant rate.

If either the kill count or the kill score goes above ser thresholds, the player is kicked for teamkilling.
You can control the settings of this functionality using vars.teamKill*.
    See?

Let me answer it with https://github.com/Myrcon/Procon-1/c...8cb9f81fd05aaa
As it wasn't hardly used in BF3 and MoHW that settings slipped us through and also it wasn't requested to use.

That can only be answered by DICE...
