    Something wrong with the code.

    Testing it on someone elses server, neither commands work.
    Take a look in your "Server Rules on Request" plug.
    What stands there besides "Chat command"?

    Jep I think so!
    You have to modify your Plugin.
    In detail it means that you have to switch it from "PlayerYell" to "Yell".
    If you don't get it, I could modify it!

    We fixed it.

    The problem with this plugin is that when you type the Chat Command, you MUST make sure there are no spaces after and no carriage returns. The DEV should look into fixing this so that any additional character can't be entered or are removed.

    For anyone claiming it's not working, look in the file CServerRulesOnRequest.cs for the line:

    this.m_strChatCommand = @"@rules";

    It should look like above, but if you have a space or carriage return, it will look like:

    this.m_strChatCommand = @"@rules/n/r";

    Or something close to it. If it's not just @rules between the quotes, you have extra characters or spaces in there, and editing this file and saving it, and then restarting Procon should fix it.

    Thanks for the info on trying to fix it and then going out of your way to post a modified version!
    I downloaded your mod, but it doesn't seem to be working =/ . I replaced the old file with the new one, asked my friend to come into the server and type @rules, and he said that he could still see them, and I could not see it.

    Do like I said in the post above yours, and make sure you have no extra characters like spaces after the "@rules"

    Hi.

    Just to give you an update.

    Well, i already had done some changes to this plugin while Lorax74 was not around.
    As mentioned before I'm going to do that again and take over the plugin.

    Actually I'm rewriting it to be fully compatible with Procon 1.x.x.x plugin API.
    This also brings the advantage that your users will see it's commands while
    using @help provided by the BasicInGameInfo plugin.

    It will be mostly a 1:1 conversion and not include fancy stuff.
    Still the plugin will give back its answers only directed to the player who
    requested the rules. Spamming them to all users will be.. well... spam and
    that is never a good idea because crazy users may utilize it.

    As addition users registered as Procon Admins with the lowest right to do
    a temp ban will be able to use a "rules2all" which will send the rules using
    the general channel.

    If you need more than one keyword on rules or stuff like that feel free to
    take a look at the "Chat Trigger Auto-Responder". I mailed blactionhero
    if he's still around and willing to update his plugin as well. If not.. well..
    maybe that what I'll do as next...

    EDIT:
    I close this thread because this plugin is abandoned and not supported by the original author anymore.

    As announced I've done a conversion to keep it alive and to have the plugin compatible with all games supported by Procon Frostbite. You can find the thread dealing with the new plugin here ->
    Server Rules on Request 2.x.x.x
