    Procon settings bug

    Hi there

Recently we've got a problem at our bf4 server, the procon doesn't save the configurations after each round, the only issue is with the round time duration,60 minutes always after each round,I went back to procon settings to check what's going on,again the 300% went back to 100%,means that the time duration went from 2 hours to 1 hour, and this is happening all the time and I don't know wat to do anymore with this, please help me out.

The round duration setting is a server setting, not procon-specific. Are you sure all your login information is accounted for and someone isn't making this change themselves?

    Hey there,thanks for the reply.

There is only one guy having access to gportal account, but what I don't understand is why the procon is changing vars.roundTimeLimit 300 to vars.roundTimeLimit 100 after each round,at the main account at gportal where all the server configurations are located the vars.roundTimeLimit is 300 all the time.

the plugins proconrulz, insane limits and ultimate map manager can change the
    vars.roundTimeLimit. check this plugins.

if the server is running on 'official mode', then you can not change the round time. i dont know whats happend when you use the 'classic mode'.

Insane limits and ultimate map manager are not installed, however I do have proconrulz and there is nothing suspicious that might cause the issue, thanks for the heads up anyways.

At this late in the game i'm not sure if quibbling about forum etiquette is productive. It was definitely the case back in the day though, had to keep stuff organized.

As for the question. Either the setting is not being properly set on your server like max said (official mode), or you have a plugin changing the values back again. Procon doesn't send new information to the server without your telling it to, there is no automation with procon. That's actually one of the great things about it, all automation is brought by plugins so you know right away that something weird is something you caused and not procon itself. Cheers.
