    Unblocking gmail logon attempts

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with Gmail when it tries to send emails from Procon since our Layer is in Germany and I am from Spain, so Gmail keeps blocking the access attempt from Germany thinking they are unlegit attemps.

    Is there any way of whitelisting an IP or telling it to stop blocking it somehow? I need it for FailLog and AdKats.

    If not, any other email provider for free which can suit my needs?

    This is the error I am getting:

    Code:
    [16:58:49 26] [AdKats] EXCEPTION-6800-D-EmailProcessingThreadLoop-EmailProcessing45: [Error occured in mail processing thread. skipping loop.][System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Für den SMTP-Server ist eine sichere Verbindung erforderlich, oder der Client wurde nicht authentifiziert. Die Serverantwort war: 5.5.1 Authentication Required. Learn more at
       bei System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.CheckResponse(SmtpStatusCode statusCode, String response)
       bei System.Net.Mail.SmtpTransport.SendMail(MailAddress sender, MailAddressCollection recipients, String deliveryNotify, SmtpFailedRecipientException& exception)
       bei System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message)
       bei PRoConEvents.AdKats.EmailHandler.EmailProcessingThreadLoop()]
    After checking it carefully, it looks like it's something to do with the "5.1.1 Authentication", no idea what that is.

    Looks like Hotmail works fine with smtp.live.com and port 25.

    So I guess I'll have to "abandon" gmail for this duty.
